Episode 7: Collei

Genshin Impact has a manga series out that is a prequel to the start of the game. The manga happens 6-12 months before the start of the game and covers lore surrounding Collei and her dark powers.

In “A Winter Night’s Lazzo” we are introduced to each one of the Fatui Harbingers for the first time at Signora’s funeral. At the end, Collei is shown waking up from a nightmare and being called by Tighnari. The editing of the video suggests she may be being watched by someone….

We mention in the podcast that Collei has had quite a glow up since the manga. It’s clear that Collei has done a lot of growing and maturing during her time with Tighnari. Mummy style be gone, Collei is here and ready to slay.

In ‘Collected Miscellany – “Collei: Sunny Green Fields”‘ we hear from Dainsleif as he tells us not only about Collei’s skills, but her history. He makes many notes that she has been rejuvenated, is full of hope, and has a strong will to live.

In Collei’s character demo we get a bit of insight into her day to day life working with the Forest Rangers. She even mentions Amber, which may have come as a surprise to players who were unaware of the manga’s story.

Katie Cook is Tif’s favorite artist, and she makes sure to catch her NYCC every year. While Katie doesn’t make Genshin art, she does create commissions on the spot at her booth in artist alley. She made this adorable Paimon for Tif this year!

Allenerie has such beautiful art! On top of this Childe Print, which when zoomed out showcases all of his transformations, we also purchased Chongyun & Itto prints. This artist also made their own custom acrylic stands. Feens purchased the Aether & Lumine one, but there were many options.

Feens has been obsessed with Tighnari, and there was very little art of him at NYCC. However, Litarnes had this beautiful piece she just had to buy! They have lots of Genshin inspired art as well as personal projects, check them out!
