For alot of us, the Delusion Factory is our first encounter with Scaramouche. He introduces himself as The Balladeer, the sixth Fatui Harbinger. Revisit the cutscene in the video linked below.

There was alot of drama surrounding Scaramouche’s character transition to The Wanderer. While he may be in a search for a real heart, his emotions for his friends shows he has more heart than he thinks.

Al talked about the changes in the wardrobe from Scaramouche in red to The Wanderer in blue and some of the symbolism shown. The biggest change is from the red of the Kubuki look to the serene blue he now wears.

Ei and The Wanderer share a mark on the back of their necks that are almost the reverse of one another. Ei’s is called a Mitsudomoe – a three-fold Tomoe representing the threefold division of man, earth and sky.
