We were excited and honored to have Paul Castro Jr. join us on this episode to talk about his role as Freminet, his own love of Genshin Impact, and his experiences in the acting world.

Paul Castro Jr. is best known in Teyvat for playing the introverted, yet heroic, Freminet. This soft spoken character, in contrast, has a lively English voice actor that has been in the industry for years. Paul, an avid gamer and fan of Genshin Impact since it launched in 2020, has had a robust career in film and voice over. Most recently, you may recognize Paul as Chocobo Billy in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth or Nozomi Suemitsu in Persona 3 Reload. Paul also voices Rindo Kanade in NEO: The World Ends with You, Clifford in several 2019 Clifford the Big Red Dog video games, Febail in Fire Emblem Heroes, Ryota Miyagi in the First Slam Dunk, and many, many more! Additionally, you may have seen Paul in movies and television including Skeleton Twins, The Rookie, Blue Bloods and The Blacklist. After growing up on the Jersey Shore, Paul gained an adoration for the ocean and its creatures, becoming an advocate for keeping our oceans clean, much like his character in Genshin Impact.
