SEASON SEVEN
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about Nod-Krai So Far that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

One of our first looks into Nod-Krai came in the preview teaser, ‘Prelude to Moonlight.’ It included short introductions to the different factions found around the area and the Wild Hunt.

Kuuhenki are unique creatures that are found only in Nod-Krai. They are a primordial form of elemental energy originating from the Three Moons. Luonatar are more defined Kuuhenki that are born from the Moon Goddess’ blessing.

With new areas come new characters. While we met Ineffa back in Natlan and saw Colombina & Sandrone in A Winter Night’s Lazzo, it was our first meeting with the infamous Varka and the locals. Aino, Lauma, Flins, Jahoda, and Nefer are the first newbies we meet.

There is no hiding that Sandrone has something mechanical about her (ahem, turning key in her back). But could those mechanics come from the Fontaine Meka? Bee discussed the theory that Sandrone could potentially be Mary-Ann from the Narzissenkreuz. Do you think this theory floats? (you know, like water)

If you’re surprised that Tif was excited by the puffins on Hiisi Island, welcome, you must be new here. Along with the cute puffins and their adorable stompy feet, Lauma gets reactions from other animals too, like the elk.

We have a few previous episodes that touch on the moons of Teyvat. Back in Season Two, we talk about the Three Moon Sisters (that we thought were princesses, at the time). We also touch on the moon in our episode from last season about Natlan’s War with the Abyss.

When you walked up to the statue of the Moon Goddess, did you think to yourself, “she looks familiar?” You’re not alone. It was a near confirmation that the Damslette is in fact Kuutar.

It was obvious that Vilemina was sus about something from the first time we met her. After we learn she was a traitor to the Frostmoon Scions and joined the Fatui, it all made sense. But none of us expected her to cut off her antlers!

As Feens mentions, there’s not much going on over at Starsand Shoal when it comes to our characters, but it is really important. And that’s because it’s where the Traveler and their sibling landed in their spaceship. Thanks to some visions from both Lauma and Colombina, we get to see the ship streak across the sky and see where it landed.

One of the epic fight scenes in Nod-Krai comes from Flins and Traveler against Rerir. It’s got Fae language, actual dialogue from the Traveler, and sad boy after we cleanse the Abyssal energy from Flins’ lantern.

The Wild Hunt appears out of seemingly nowhere. Bathed in smoke, they’re already a creepy-looking group. But then to top it all off, they have torches for heads! Anyone else as unsettled by this as Tif was?

To stop Rerir from completing his goal, everyone works to make sure Aino’s cannon doesn’t go off. They’re unsuccessful at stopping it, but luckily they were able to stop Rerir from getting the full energy shot and restoring himself completely.

Here are some helpful links if you’re unfamiliar with the pop culture references we mentioned during the episode. Bee serenaded us with a little snippet of Celine’s “It’s all Coming Back to Me Now,” Tif laughed about the VAs trying to pronounce Flins’ full name, and she told us about “The Changeling” by Victor LaValle.
