Below are some resources surrounding what we discussed about The Kamisato Family that may be helpful to better understand this week’s lore:

The Kamisato Emblem from Genshin Impact. It is gold and shaped like an hexagon with a flower in the middle. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

The Kamisato Clan is a family with a deep-rooted history in Inazuma. Heading the Yashiro Commission, they oversee the cultural affairs and shrines in Inazuma. They’re also in charge of the Shuumatsuban and the Komore Teahouse.

On the left is Ayato and on the right is Ayaka, both from Genshin Impact. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Thoma, from Genshin Impact, zoomed into to his head and upper torso. He looks concerned at someone off camera. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Everyone’s favorite housekeeper south of Mondstadt, Thoma plays an important role in the Kamisato Family. Best friend, confidant, fixer, and maybe even boyfriend. Okay, definitely boyfriend.

Taroumaru, from Genshin Impact, a yellow and orange Shiba Inu. It wears a white bow and a brown jacket. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Taroumaru is the Shiba Inu that owns and runs the Komore Teahouse after retiring as a ninja in the Shuumatsuban. You can visit Taroumaru at the teahouse, but you might not be able to understand what he’s saying to you. Where’s Gorou when you need him?

A close up of Aya's feet, wearing white ankle socks and sandals with a bow, under water. Her feet are submerged in water up until her ankles. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

The infamous wet socks.

After their date at the festival on Amakane Island, Akaya steps into the water in Chinju Forest to dance for the traveler. In her shoes and socks. If you’ve ever had to walk in wet socks, you know the ick. Let us know if you get the cringe in our Spotify or social polls.

Two swords cross int he middle of a circular, window like feature. There are yellow tree drawings and blue waves around as well. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Raiden Gokaden is made up of the five bladesmithing schools in Inazuma – Amenoma, Isshin, Futsu, Hyakume, and Senju Arts. The five became key members of the Yashiro Commission due to the cultural influence of swordsmith in Inazuma. Isshin is most familiar to us as that is art performed by Kazuha’s family.

A screenshot showcasing three poems. They are blue with white text, but not readable in the screenshot. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Bee created some Genshin AI generated stories. More specifically a poem about Genshin, a song about Venti, and a love letter from Feens to Childe. Click the title of each to read & download. Let us know if you create your own AI generated stories and poems.

If you too can’t stop singing “Oye Loca! Ven pa’ca” whenever you see Thoma, then you’re not alone! Al too can’t get Pitbull out of her head. Check out the video Al references in this week’s podcast: The G In Genshin Stands For…

The Kamisato siblings have a strong relationship. And like a good big brother, Ayato is always looking out for his little sister.
