Tales of Teyvat, a Genshin Lore Podcast

Special Episode: Mailbag

SEASON TWO

In this special episode of Tales of Teyvat we answer your questions! Thank you to the travelers that sent in questions and comments, we appreciate you all!

Thank You!

Below are a few notes and links from our episode to guide you:

Albedo, from Genshin Impact, stares lovingly at the camera in his 2022 birthday art. Behind him, Sucrose and Timeous sneak a peak through the door to see what Albedo is doing. Kaeya and Paimon fight in front of him. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Traveler Chloe asked us our thoughts on Susbedo and if they can expect an Albedo episode in the future. We have an episode in the works for later this season that covers the “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms” event that was focused on Albedo & Susbedo. And you can expect an Albedo episode next season.

If you’re interested in reading Chloe’s story about Dorian, check it out here on Wattpad.

Eula, from Genshin Impact, charges at an imposter of Albedo in the snow. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

While we’re on the subject of Susbedo, don’t you think Eula would harbor some ill-will toward Albedo after “he” tried to end her and throw her off a mountain. Seems like a perfect reason for some vengeance.

A creepy painting of a man with a man standing in front of is holding a red blanket or curtain. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Al mentioned The Picture of Dorian Gray – an English classic by poet and playwright Oscar Wilde. It centers around Dorian Gray, who sells his soul for eternal youth, trapping his aging self into a portrait; however his reflection mirrors the corruption this exchange cost him. Perhaps our “Dorian” will see their portrait and repent – or it might be too late.

On the left is a hilichurl, a monster from Genshin Impact, wearing a purple handkerchief on its wrist. On the right is Kaeya looking at the camera with a smug look. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Traveler Nacho shared their theory surrounding the stories of Kaeya, Caribert and the curse. What are your thoughts… do you think Kaeya is Caribert? And how does the Ragnvindr family fit in?

On the left is Baizhu, from Genshin Impact, standing and looking at the camera. On the right is Orabashi, a snake god with it's mouth open menacingly. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Traveler Vimal asked if we felt Baizhu and Oribashi could be related or if Changsheng, Baizhu’s neck snake, could even be a reincarnation of Oribashi. And what about the idea that maybe Baizhu is a copy of Dottore? We’re all kind of on edge with how many Dottore copies there could still be out there.

Sing it with us, we just got a letter! We just got a letter!
