Previously recorded in July of 2024, this episode was scheduled to release on July 26, 2024 – the exact day the SAG-AFTRA video game strike started. We decided to hold off on releasing the episode to stand in solidarity with video game voice actors across the US. With the strike over, we’re happy to finally release this fun episode that also includes our previous co-host, Al!
We were saddened to hear with the release of 5.7 that Corina will no longer be voicing Paimon. We think this episode encapsulates everything that they brought to the character and we’re excited to share it with the community.

We were excited and honored to have Corina Boettger join us on this episode to discuss their role as Paimon, their experience working in the industry while managing their health, and what it’s like to live with two adorable birds (and a super supportive husband). Corina Boettger is best known in Teyvat for playing the best Teyvat travel guide, our emergency food companion: Paimon. This emotional and mysterious character has an energetic and charismatic voice actor who has been in the industry since they were eight. Corina, who started their career in Akeelah and the Bee, auditioned for multiple characters in Teyvat and landed the role of Paimon shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Corina’s career spans more than just our guide. Most recently, you may recognize Corina as Alice in FriendZSpace, Fenrir in Tower of Fantasy, Naoko in Dino Girl Gauko, or Magical Cat in Tiger and Bunny. Additionally, you may have seen Corina in shows including My Name Is Earl, United States of Tara, Glee, Shameless, Awkward, and many, many more! Corina is the loving parent to their birds, Zulu and Lima.
