SEASON SEVEN
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about the Finale of the Deep Galleries Artifact Set that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

Like we did in the episode, we’re going to list the artifacts in story order as opposed to the normal order they are listed in. As a reminder, you can find the Finale of the Deep Galleries artifact set in the domain Derelict Masonry Dock in Atocpan, Natlan.

Each one of the artifacts in this set starts with an almost identical paragraph about Skirk’s orders from her master, Surtalogi, to find Seutervoinen, the Voyager, aka Youth, from the overall story. If you don’t know much about Skirk, watch her character trailer for some backstory.

The Plume of Death, Deep Gallery’s Distant Pact, introduces us to the Voyager. She is from another world and becomes enamored with Nibelung. She returned ages later to find the Heavenly Principles in charge and projected her consciousness into human form, a youth.

The Circlet of Logos, Deep Gallery’s Lost Crown, introduces the angels with their silver wings and crowns of “sevenfold radiance.” There is also a short overview of the love story between the youth and an angel.

The Goblet of Eonothem, Deep Gallery’s Bestowed Banquet, talks about Hyperborea and how impressed the priests were with Seutervoinen. This is when he was allowed to continue down to meet the first angel, Koitar.

The Flower of Life, Deep Gallery’s Echoing Song, tells us of the first meeting of Seutervoinen (youth) and Koitar (first angel) and their love that followed. It also tells us that their first kiss was not unnoticed by the Heavenly Principles – who was PISSED.

The Sands of Eons, Deep Gallery’s Moment of Oblivion, is all about the repercussions that our couple faced after their ill-fated kiss and ensuing love story. It talks about the skynails and the curse on the angels that they could not fall in love or else they would be turned into Seelies.

Bee walks us through the other places we see the mirror motif throughout the story. Most notable are the Looking Glass mechanic in Fontaine, the Moon Mirrors (puzzles) in Nod-Krai, and the Fatui Mirror Maidens, who first appeared in Inazuma.

While there may not be direct correlations between Skirk’s outfit and the artifact set, there are definitely parts that seem inspired. Especially the feather in her hair. It almost looks like she found the treasure and decided it would make a nice accessory.

A reminder for those who may have forgotten, the sky is fake. Scaramouche told us this all the way back in 1.1 in the Unreconciled Stars event. We got our first glimpse of the broken moons beyond the false sky in Natlan after Mavuika blasted an energy tower that broke straight through in the Archon Quest.

Here are some helpful links if you’re unfamiliar with the pop culture references we mentioned during the episode. Feens talked about a few of her current obsessions – the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack, Haunted Hotel, and Heated Rivalry. She also mentioned the Stranger Things meme of Will to Mike – That’s what you’re concerned about? We had some singing with Lonely Island’s Threw It On The Ground. And mentioned some Broadway shows with Hamilton & Hadestown.
