SEASON SEVEN
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about Where the Springs Return that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

Small but mighty is possibly the most accurate way to describe People of the Springs chief Amina. A child is another.

Our two visiting researchers from the Sumeru Akademiya, Karya and Viramdra, are central figures of this Tribal Chronicle. Visiting the Mysterious Island (erm, cave) teaches them life lessons, and perhaps, kindles their romance.

Before the Easybreeze Holiday Resort opened up, the shores of the Toyac Springs was the vacation hotspot. A perfect place for opportunists Kaulu and Kaeho to scam a few mora out of the unsuspecting tourists.

When a swimmer, who we can only assume is from the Spina di Rosula, asks to buy some black floaters, Mualani quickly tells him that color might not be the best for him. Does she believe the bad luck story she tells or is she just a good salesperson? Let us know what you think.

The most talked about guide in town is Koolau. He’s the only current person who has gone to the Mysterious Island. Or at least that’s what he tells everyone. If he really did, wouldn’t he know it was actually a cave? Sus.

No, this is not a photo of Koolau in glasses. It’s Uncle Nuu, Mualani’s mentor and guide who’s actually been to the famed Mysterious Island. Something Mualani figures out when she realizes the Spinel Fruit in the talisman he gives her is from the cave.

You know who’s not going to spend 20k mora on a raggedy-ass tent? Bee. As far as tents go, it’s actually not terrible, but could you imagine them all snuggled up in there together?

The slap heard round Teyvat! Karya takes the opportunity to smack Viramdra straight across his dumb face when he starts to lose his mind in the cave. The Traveler and Paimon are shook.

After successfully visiting the cave, the volcanic ash covering Mualani allows her to open a story from the first chief that tells the story of the real Mysterious Island… the place they call home. Gag.

What’s a quest without a photo to commemorate the time your guide promised you an island but all you got was an ashy cave. Maybe that should be on a t-shirt at Mualani’s beach stand.

Here are some helpful links if you’re unfamiliar with the IRL references we mentioned during the episode. Bee told us about a Price is Right contestant that flipped her wig, Tif reminds us that we shouldn’t go chasing waterfalls, Feens based her opinion of Bjork from the time Katya was the Icelandic singer on Snatch Game, and Bee serenades us with I’m a Slave 4 You.
