One of the people that Mauvika left behind was her sister Hine. From all the snippets we’ve seen, we can tell they had a beautiful relationship.
Hine’s architecture may not have stood the test of time, but her paper frog did! It lost its color, but not its sentiment, as we can see when the little girl in Mavuika’s character teaser gave her back an old family book.
Tupac, the hero (not the rapper), yeeted Mauvika into the fire to save Natlan. Okay, maybe it didn’t happen exactly like that, but we do see him carry her to the throne in the animated short “Sunset”.

Mausau is the little kid who got possessed by the spirit of Xblanque for one day so he could see the current Natlan and fight Mavuika.
Mavuika has some of the most interesting eyes in Natlan, and fun fact, she got them after becoming the Pyro Archon the second time around. In the cutscenes from her previous life, we can see they are normal.
Mavuika’s fight with Xbalanque is pretty epic, even if he’s just a little kid at the time. It’s always neat to see the glowing characters of the Natlan heroes.
Mavuika’s character trailer is more of a music video than an intro to her character. Her band is made up of Natlan’s current heroes – Xilonen, Chasca, Iansan, Mualani, Ororon, and Kinich.
Capri-Sun is the Capitano / Mavuika ship name Melty introduces us to. A great ship, a great name. Tif approves.
Imagine Mavuika without her Flamestrider. Or what about Mavuika in traditional Natlan garb riding on Flamestrider. It just doesn’t work. She’s one badass, that’s for sure.
