Below are some resources surrounding the Lawerence Clan that may be helpful to better understanding this week’s lore:
Genshin Impact has a manga series out that is a prequel to the start of the game. The manga happens 6-12 months before the start of the game and covers lore surrounding Collei and her dark powers. Additionally, it discusses a time when the Lawerence Clan was in charge of Mondstadt and were taken down by Venessa.
Eula also has a character teaser that discusses her being forced into being a loner in Mondstadt. Additionally, it covers the basic history of Mondstadt’s family and the oppression of the aristocracy. There are lots of mentions of vengeance too!
Eula’s Character Demo showcases her skills as a playable cryo character in game. Additionally, it shows us insights into her skills as a dancer, the history of dance in the aristocracy, and her relationship with Amber.
In October/November of 2021 Eula was featured in “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms” an event that took place mostly in Dragonspine. In this event, Eula is featured as a trainer of new members of the Adventure’s Guild. There are interactions with Amber, Albedo, Bennet, and Traveler.
During the podcast we mention some collaborations Genshin has been doing in other countries. This includes a collab with Pizza Hut featuring Eula and Amber! It was too cute for us to not share the official art. Too bad it doesn’t show a V for vengeance…
Artist Spotlight
There are so many talented & creative people in the Genshin community, and we’d like to spread some love to a wonderful artist – Charles Deroo. The modern look of the characters is so beautiful. And really opens up the imagination to what it would be like if these characters lived in the real world.
