In our very first Dainsleif Archon Quest, we learned about the Abyss and what they’re trying to do in Mondstadt. This occurs after the finale of Liyue, and introduces us to many new ideas of the Abyss and shows us our first Abyss Lecture. We also get some insight into what our twin is up to.

Childe a character from Genshin Impact, sits on a hillside holding a yellow flower in a hand that is prompt up on his knee. He looks down, off screen, longingly. This image is showcased on the website for Tales of Teyvat: A Genshin Lore Podcast.

Childe has a character demo that Hoyoverse used to show off his skills before he was released. In this video Childe discusses his battle skills while also writing a letter home to his family. He says, “The future that the Tsaritsa desires, the future the people of Snezhnaya desire, it will be had.”

Childe has a story trailer that is narrated by Dainsleif. Dains gives us an overview of Childe’s combat style while also giving us some insight into the Harbingers and Childe’s Abyssal training. This trailer makes it clear that Childe is unsure of the powers he has.
