Episode 113: Diona

Pew-pew! Listen up, boozehounds. Diona is one of the sassiest characters in the game. She is a big personality in a small package. Get a glimpse at this diva in her character demo. And no, she wasn’t waiting for you.

Our special returnee guest, Vanessa, is a big fan of Diona, so it only made sense to have her back for this episode. Some reasons why she’s smitten with this kitten, the drag queen eyebrows and puffy ponytail.

Diona’s dad, Draff, is a staple over in Springvale. But that might not be the only reason he seems familiar. He’s voiced by the same actor who voices Gorou. Something that hasn’t helped sway Tif from the Gorou hatred.

It’s only appropriate that one of the regulars from Cat’s Tail teaches us how to play TCG, the game that has taken over the bar. Diona takes a break from making delicious cocktails to walk us through the game and play a round or two.

Speaking of Diona’s famous cocktails, her talent for always making a delicious concoction comes from a gift she received from the Spring Fairy, Callirhoe. Whether it’s truly a gift or a curse is open to debate.

When Diona met Callirhoe during the Poetry Event, she didn’t believe her at first that she was the Spring Fairy she had spoken to as a child. Until Callirhoe reminded her of her favorite fish pillow named Bubbles.

Have you ever had a cat or been around one? Then you know that they want nothing to do with you, until you want nothing to do with them. Then it’s game on! Same goes for Diona, she doesn’t want the attention until she doesn’t have it.

Some of the best hangout images we get from the game are Diona’s. They’re cute, sassy, and even show Draff and his BFF (or more) Allan. If you haven’t done her hangout, move it up to the top of your list.

There are some great moments during the ‘Waterborne Poetry’ event, including when Chongyun’s yang energy goes crazy after trying one of Diona’s drinks. Someone get this man a popsicle, stat!
