SEASON SEVEN
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about the Irodori Festival that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

Welcome Beefy! One of the enigmatic churls of The Shade Chamber. While TSC may be on hiatus at the moment, it shouldn’t stop you from checking out their amazing video episodes on YouTube. Beefy has also joined us on a few previous episodes including last season’s artifact episode.

For the main story of the Irodori Festival, aka Hues of the Violet Garden, we have an all-star cast of Albedo, Xingqiu, Ayaka, Ayato, Venti, Yae Miko, Kujou Sara and Kazuha. With some side stories including Klee, Yoimiya, Itto, Thoma, and Gorou.

The festival is centered around the Five Kasen – a group of poets from ancient Inazuma that would read poems to the Raiden Shogun. And it just wouldn’t be Inazuma without some drama.

If you missed the event, you can watch all the cutscenes of the Five Kasen, which introduced a new style of animation in the game that we never had before.

While you’re at it, be sure to watch the ending of Kazuha’s grandfather’s story with the Balladeer.

It’s not surprising that the two people who love to blow things up would become BFFs. So, there was no surprise when bomber Klee and firework-loving Yoimiya had an adorable side story together.

Yae Miko treats tormenting Gorou like it’s her job. Wait, is that a real job? Asking for a friend. Her constant flirting of the furry soldier sent him hiding during the festival.

Most Inazumans probably know that Onis are allergic to soy. But Thoma isn’t actually an Inazuman. Maybe we can forgive his attempt on Itto’s life just this once.

Kujou Sara is a simp for Raiden Shogun. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. So why wouldn’t she be buying up all the Funko Pops of her idol! Do you think she uses any for her vape like Beefy does?

Watch the video from Ashikai that we discuss and let us know if you think the thief was Scaramouche, Thoma, or someone else!

Here are some helpful links if you’re unfamiliar with the IRL references we mentioned during the episode. We envisioned Paul Blart on his segway, Beefy sang some Natasha Bedingfield, Bee reminded us that there’s always money in the banana stand, we talked about coffee-drinking aliens from Men in Black, Feens and Beefy gushed over Megamind, and we said ‘You’re welcome’ to The Rock.
