SEASON TWO
Every episode our team will work to provide you with visual and video aids to help you better understand comparisons and what we’re talking about.
Below are some resources surrounding what we discussed about Enjou and the Plight of Enkanomiya that may be helpful to better understand this week’s lore:

The Thing Calling Itself “Enjou”…. unanimously called the best NPC in the game by your hosts. Once he stops the charade, he’s actually pretty honest with us. Which makes for some of the funniest lines in Inazuma.
Watch a Compilation of funny lines by Enjou on YouTube.

Orabashi is a dragon-like serpent god that helped the people of Enkanomiya. Also known as the Watasumi Omikami, Orabashi was inevitably defeated by Ei at Yashiori Island and his remnants are found throughout Inazuma & Enkanomiya. In fact, all the purple/pink coral found at Watasumi Island are part of his remains.

‘Before Sun and Moon’, volume 2 in the Byakuyakoku Collection, is a highly sought after book and one normal people have been forbidden to read. It contains fables and histories about the start of the world and the creation of the Dainichi Mikoshi. Once you’ve completed the quest ‘Collection of Dragons and Snakes’ you’ll be given the book and can read it in your archive.

Feens brings up the fact that Chongyun is the only character not the host of a serpent (ie Baizhu) that has serpent-like eyes. Could this be a signifier that he’s somehow an ancestor of the vishaps? His auntie Shenhe doesn’t have these eyes, and neither does Kokomi – someone we truly think is related to the people of Enkanomiya.

While Tsumi wears a strange mask that gives her serpent pupils, we are led to believe that she actually may have eyes like that because we know she is an ancestor of the serpent people. Now whether they were getting nasty and making lizard babies like Feens said or (more likely) it was an evolutionary change, we’ll leave that to you to decide.

So how about that fishing? Tif talks about her obsession with fishing and filling her Serenitea Pot with all types of creatures. Divda and Formalo Rays are only found in the three fishing spots available in Enkanomiya. Like other ornamental fish, if you catch one that is jumping out of the water, you can put them in your teapot.
@talesoftif Enjou is by far the best NPC in Genshin, Im sorry, I mean “The Thing Calling Itself Enjou”. …….. #enjou #genshin #genshinimpact #teyvat #enkanomiya #aether #paimon #genshin36 ♬ original sound – Tif
