SEASON FOUR
Every episode our team provides travelers with visual and video aids to help better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about the ‘Labyrinth Warriors’ event that may be helpful to better understand the talking points and lore:

If you were like most of us, you didn’t get to play the Labyrinth Warriors event when it was released in version 2.2. Luckily for us, you can find a lot of playthroughs from other Travelers on YouTube.

The Mystic Onmyou Chamber domain is no longer accessible, but there is still plenty to see in the Araumi area on Narukami Island. As Feens mentions, this is also the area where you first unlock the puzzles that lead to the Perpetual Mechanical Array.

The overseer of the domain, and our flat companion for the event, Shiki Taishou is a shikigami paper doll with magical abilities. Dealing with some sleep amnesia, Shiki slowly remembers his past and what has occurred recently when he fuses with replicas of himself.

Flat Stanley, not to be confused with Mondstadt Stanley, is a children’s activity book where you draw on a paper doll and make a friend. Which essentially is what Kamuna Harunosuke did with Shiki Taishou. But with magic and monsters. As Al mentioned, Flat Stanely recently had a glow up in the newer versions.

Yata Kouki is the NPC with the velvet voice that Feens pines over when we make our way to see Kujou Sara. Take a listen for yourself and let us know if you agree or who else you think has a sexy voice in the game.

Shiki Taishou has many expressions for a paper doll. While Tif laughed at them, Al told us that the symbols were Japanese characters.

Xinyan’s test of Shiki Taishou’s character required her to rock out so we could feel the music. While everyone says just how amazing her performance was, the look on Traveler’s face tells a completely different story. Or maybe we were also disappointed not to find out the color of someone’s soul.

Mr Worldwide is one of the main characters in this event and we talked quite a bit about him. But if you’re interested in learning more, check out our Childe-specific episode from season one.

Once Shiki merges with all the replicas and restores all his memories, we see a cutscene showing us the end of his time with Kamuna Harunosuke. He learns that he’s not evil, which is nice, and that he fulfilled his promise with his master.

At the end of the event, we’re given our very own non-magical shikigami. This cute little gadget gets to explore the rest of Teyvat with us.

We also chatted about Mardi Gras king cake, Stephen King’s Cujo, Marty McFly’s performance in Back to the Future, Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob Squarepants, and the ultimate rock queen, Joan Jett.
