SEASON SIX
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about Thoma that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

Get to know the loyal housekeeper of the Kamisato family through his character demo and collected miscellany videos. But don’t get too acquainted with him, Bee already called dibs.

Thoma is the reigning champion of the Hot Pot game! Although it’s not really a title anyone is fighting him for. What’s the weirdest thing you’d eat for the God of Hot Pot’s Blessing?

Before Thoma’s release, his character was a little bit on the douchey side. According to rumors, he was snarky, acted like a bad boy, and was engaged to Ayaka. Luckily for us, instead, we got the sweet, precious Thoma we all enjoy now. Possibly thanks to the toxic behaviors of the d-bag king himself, Tartaglia.

Thoma isn’t just nice to people, he’s a huge animal lover as well! Tif mentions one of his birthday art posts and the absolute cuddle-puddle of cuteness and friendship. We think she’s partial to the finch, go figure.

The Kamisatos aren’t just Thoma’s employers, they’re also his found family. Whether or not you subscribe to the various ships, you can’t deny this trio has a unique bond. Thoma is willing to do anything for the siblings – even eat sus food – and the feeling is mutual.

During Thoma’s hangout, we learn the story of the saddest ninja puppy around, Inu Shoushou. He sits on the shore in Kondo Village waiting for his best friend to come back, but he never does. Sound familiar, Thoma?

Who had a retired ninja Shiba Inu owning a teahouse on their Inazuma bingo card? And a talking one at that! Just kidding, Taroumaru doesn’t really talk. It was just a little prank Thoma played on us after we made it out of Ritou.

The cutscene where Thoma has his vision almost taken away is a pretty pivotal moment in the Inazuma Archon Quest. It was exciting and action-packed, so much so that Feens told us she needed a cold shower afterward!

Why do we never see cats and dogs running around Inazuma City with sweaters on?!?! Thoma is over here knitting up a storm and making his furry friends warm and toasty, and we never see a fashion show. Tsk.

We mention a few past episodes that include Thoma. If you want to check them out, they are Episode 57: ‘Akitsu Kimodameshi’ Event (S3), Episode 24: The Kamisato Family (S2), and Episode 12: The Vision Hunt Decree (S1). The image shown is from the official 2022 White Day Art.
