SEASON SEVEN
Our team provides travelers with visual and video aids every episode to help them better understand comparisons, learn more about topics, and follow what we’re discussing. While we strive to include links to official Genshin Impact resources, some may also be to third-party channels.
Below are some resources surrounding this episode about Saurian Doctor, Ifa that may be helpful to understand the talking points and lore better:

As a member of the Flower-Feather Clan, it’s no surprise that Ifa’s style resembles his other clan compatriots (like Chasca). Bee compares him to a gaucho – a South American cowboy.

Ororon and Ifa are BFFs. Therefore there’s no surprise that the painting Ororon made of Ifa is the sign that hangs in front of his clinic, welcoming his patients.

Cacucu isn’t a regular Qucusaurs. Not only because of his looks – he resembles a ball more than a bird – but also his ability to speak. His vocabulary is minimal, mimicking Ifa’s laid-back bro-isms.

At the center of the event story surrounding Ifa’s ancestors (Tournament of Glory in Bloom) is a sick little Tepetlisaur that fought during Natlan’s war against the Abyss. By his side during the whole ordeal was his BFF, Naiyan, with a sweet little bow on her head.

One of Tif’s favorite moments of the story is the post-battle hot springs party. Not because it’s overly interesting, but because it gave us the image of Paimon and Ajaw relaxing in the warm waters.

At the center of the story is Nampole and Antu – Ifa’s ancestor and his light & floaty saurian friend. After the gang saves the day and Antu gets to enjoy friendship, he is reunited with Nampole in the Night Kingdom.

It’s no surprise that Ajaw isn’t a fan of Cacucu. Who is he a fan of?! But the little curmudgeon has met his match with Cacucu. Their interactions, especially during the Whirling Waltz event and the video of their meeting, are very funny.

Is this the Cacucu episode or Ifa’s? We all know who puts these pages together, so are we surprised the cute bird is featured a bunch? Anywho, did you see Cacucu and the Asha playing during the Sunspray Summer event at the Easybreeze Holiday Resort in Natlan? Adorbs.

Ifa has a variety of past interactions with other Natlan characters during his clan tour. At one point, he meets Xilonen who crafts some pretty impressive syringes that Ifa carries on his back hip.

But one more bird note before we go… when Ifa goes for a ride with Cacucu, the little Qucu-thesaurus (as Paimon calls him) is able to sprout larger wings for a faster, longer glide through the air.

Here are some helpful links if you’re unfamiliar with the IRL references we mentioned during the episode. Feens tells us about the Lyrebird, Bee reminds us of the heartbreaking start to Up, and Feens evokes the best Simpsons meme ever – Homer in the bush.
